Early Web Design

Websites have long been in the purview of businesses, both large and small, however the way that websites are designed and function during the design process and post-launch have dramatically changed.  In the early days of website design, sites were coded in HTML (Hyper-Text-Markup-Language), images were manually linked, and by and large, design was very basic.

As technology has improved over the last 15 years, the creation of a website has become less expensive, and the tools to manage and create those sites have become more available.  Instead of coding websites, websites are now by-and-large created in design platforms, and coding is minimal-- even though the sites continued to necessitate a web developer or graphic artist to fashion the sites.

The advantage to these systems is that you can do all the work yourself, and save yourself the cost of professional web development--  yet the final product is as profesisonal as any site you could have developed by a professional.
